Meet the Coaches!

By day, he’s a fearless third-grade teacher, training young Padawans in reading, math, and the ways of the classroom. After school, he trades his whiteboard in for a softball field, coaching future all-stars with Jedi-level patience. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him kayak fishing, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with his family. Whether teaching something new or reeling in the catch of the day, he lives by one simple rule: May the Force be with you!

Sam graduated from Rutgers in 2023 with a BS in Leadership & Management. He is currently pursuing a MEd in Orientation & Mobility at UMass-Boston. Sam is a member of the New Jersey Titans Beep Baseball Team and spent 2 years as the Vice-President of Unified Sports at Rutgers. Sam enjoys live music, hiking, and chicken parm. He is ecstatic to join the Field of Dream community!

Dominick is a special education teacher at Regional Day School in Jackson, NJ. He also serves as a lead behavior technician at BrainBuilders and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University. On weekends, Dominick works at a local church, supporting special needs social events and religious education classes. A lifelong baseball fan and player, he is excited to combine his passion for the sport with his expertise in working with children and adults with special needs.

For twenty-four years, Susan Morin has brought dedication and passion to her work as a special education teacher. Beyond the classroom, she plays a key role in Wall Township High School’s Unified Sports program, helping to oversee and organize its operations. She has been a steady and supportive presence as the program has grown each year since its inception, helping to create more opportunities for students to participate, connect, and thrive together. Susan’s commitment to inclusion makes her a valued member of our team.

Nancy is part of Wall Township High School’s Unified Sports program. 

Patrick graduated from Ocean County College in 2026 and is now pursuing a degree in K-12  Education with a focus in History and Special Education at Kean Ocean. He has played flag football in Brick since 2014 and began coaching both 10U and 12U teams in 2024. Patrick also has a passion for martial arts and earned his black belt in a mixed style of karate in 2019. He is eager to join the Field of Dreams team to combine his experience with flag football and his passion for coaching with his future goals in education.

Brian is a paraprofessional at Regional Day School and is also pursuing a degree in Physical Education from Kean University. Brian currently plays a variety of sports, such as volleyball, softball, and flag football! He is so excited to be a part of Field of Dreams, where he can combine and share his love for teaching and sports! 

Al has been coaching athletes at the Field of Dreams since 2023! His son plays for both the kickball and flag football teams, so it was a no-brainer for him to join our coaching staff. 

Michaela graduated from Kean University in 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, along with a Special Education teaching certification. She has spent most of her life working with children and young adults, serving as a theater camp counselor, teaching special education dance classes, and coaching youth and high school programs. She has always had a passion for serving her community—especially its youth—and is grateful to have turned that passion into a career.
