Teen Night – Fun at the Field!

Children’s Specialized Hospital’s Activity Connection provides a monthly drop-off social & recreation program for teens and young adults ages 13-21 with special healthcare needs & diverse abilities. Our Recreational Therapists, community recreation staff & volunteers provide structured & unstructured social and leisure activities to promote peer interaction and fun! Siblings and friends of all abilities are welcome to join. Teens can expect to meet and get to know their peers, engage in group activities, and learn new games & skills! Please note this is a drop-off program, and the annual Activity Connection Forms must be completed during registration if not done so already.

This Month!
Teen Night allows teens and young adults to spend time with peers, get to know one another, and enjoy a fun Friday night. May’s Teen Night will be Fun at the Field! Celebrating the opening of the Field of Dreams, teens will have the opportunity to explore all that the complex has to offer! Activities may include basketball, pickleball, mini golf, and more.

Participant Criteria
Able to participate in a group activity
Independently mobile (including while seated in a wheelchair)
Ability to follow simple verbal and visual instructions

Foster creativity and self-expression among participants
