Lemonade Legends Charity Wiffleball Tournament

What started as a simple summer lemonade stand quickly turned into something much more meaningful.

Chase DeFeo, the 8-year-old behind Lemonade Legends, was selling ice-cold lemonade and making an impressive profit. After learning about the importance of giving back, Chase and his family began talking about ways he could use his success to support others in the community. They explored several local nonprofits, but one strongly stood out: RWJ Field of Dreams in Toms River – a park designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and their families.

It was a perfect fit. Chase has a deep love for baseball, and the very name Lemonade Legends was inspired by his passion for the game. Supporting Field of Dreams was the perfect fit. As they started brainstorming ideas on how to support the park, there were so many connections that made the whole experience even more special.

Throughout the summer, Chase and his friends had been tossing around the idea of organizing a wiffle ball tournament, so turning it into a fundraiser made perfect sense. That’s how the Lemonade Legends Charity Wiffle Ball Tournament came to be.

Since then, the response has been incredible. Local businesses, players, and families have stepped up to get involved, and it’s been amazing to see what can happen when kids lead the way with a good idea and a little heart.
