Donation in Mayor Thomas Kelaher’s Name

The TRFOD is extremely saddened to announce the passing of former Mayor Tom Kelaher. Tom, recipient of the Toms River Field of Dreams Founder Award, was a pivotal figure since the inception of the special needs community complex. When Tom left the office of mayor he continued to remain a passionate supporter of the project and eagerly anticipated it’s commencement. Although Tom will not be able to be there physically, we are deeply comforted in the thought that his spirit will remain there everyday. To acknowledge his memory and display our thanks for all he had done for the Field of Dreams, we are creating the Tom Kelaher Community Garden.
